The bulky seam aid, also known as a seam jumper or humper jumper, is a must have tool if you regularly sew with thick fabrics such as denim!

This handy tool helps with even and consistent stitching on thick and layered fabrics by keeping the presser foot level. You can use a bulky seam aid with all sewing machines. To use it, slide it under the presser foot from behind, lower the presser foot, and stitch slowly over the seam. It has two widths for use with different fabric thicknesses.

Also! You can use this tool when sewing on buttons, helping to create a thread shank.
