Once received, we aim to dispatch orders within 1-3 working days. During busier periods this may increase. Orders placed over the weekend will not begin to be processed until the Monday.
Shipping charges are calculated at the basket, based upon the value and weight of the goods, as well as the destination. Therefore, to view an accurate calculation of the final cost of your order, please enter your postcode at the Basket. Please note that you may not be presented with the correct cost estimate if you do not enter a postcode at this stage.
We currently do not ship outside of the United Kingdom. Sadly, due to EU GPSR regulations we are unable to ship to Northern Ireland.
Please note that, regrettably, fabric which has been cut to a particular length for a customer cannot be refunded nor exchanged. Delivery charges will not be refunded, unless goods are found to be faulty or damaged. We ask that you check the condition of your purchase immediately upon receiving it, and before using it, as we cannot accept the return of items deemed to be faulty once they have been cut or used. Any discrepencies MUST be reported to us with 28 days of receipt of your order. Your statutory rights remain.
Every care is taken to ensure that fabric leaving us is in brand new, top condition. Each length of fabric is checked over thoroughly by the person who packs it for you. We ask that you check the condition of your purchase immediately on receiving it, and before using it, as we cannot accept the return of items deemed to be faulty once they have been cut or used. We understand that the occasional human error will be made, so if you do have a problem with your fabric that you would like to discuss, please contact us as soon as possible after receiving it. Please contact us immediately if you believe your purchase to be damaged or faulty on arrival.
We recommend that you do not accept delivery of an item if the exterior packaging is clearly damaged. Please ensure that we and the carrier are informed of the reason for which the item was not signed for.
Truro Fabrics acts in accordance with the Distance Selling Regulations 2000, designed to protect consumers’ rights. They cover purchases made via email and the internet, together with telephone and mail order. They only apply to transactions between businesses and consumers (individuals acting outside the course of their business) and do not include business-to-business transactions.
Fabric swatches cannot be returned for a refund. Please note that samples are provided to aid choice, and that their measurements are approximate.

Unfortunately sewing patterns cannot be returned for an exchange or refund. In the unlikely case that your pattern is damaged or faulty, contact our customer services on 01872 222130 to arrange a refund. Any discrepancies MUST be reported to us with 28 days of receipt of your order. Your statutory rights remain.
If you wish to return a non-fabric item, please contact us and send back to us within 14 days of receipt. To qualify for a refund, all items must be returned in original condition with all tags and packaging intact. Once you have started making a kit, we are unable to accept a return unless it is deemed by ourselves to be faulty. Delivery charges will not be refunded unless goods are found to be faulty or damaged. Sewing patterns are non-returnable. Threads are non-returnable. This does not affect your statutory rights.
If you wish to return a yarn purchase, please contact us and send back to us within 14 days of receipt. To qualify for a refund, all items must be returned in original, saleable condition with all tags and packaging intact. We are unable to accept returns of incomplete balls of yarn unless considered by ourselves or the manufacturer to be faulty. Delivery charges will not be refunded, unless goods are found to be faulty or damaged. Knitting and crochet patterns are non-returnable. This does not affect your statutory rights.
