National Cornish Tartan Tapestry Kit Designed by Laura-Jane Sparks for Truro Fabrics.

Introducing our very first exclusively designed Truro Fabrics needlepoint kit. Inside you’ll find everything you need to make your National Cornish Tartan counted tapestry, complete with step by step photographed instructions in a handy booklet. Your finished tapestry would make a beautiful cushion, bag or even finish it by framing it for your wall.

Using just one simple stitch in 5 colours you will create a beautiful square of Cornish tartan. Whilst some previous needlepoint experience would be ideal, this kit contains everything you need to get started with the craft. The 8-page instruction booklet includes detailed descriptions with images on setting up your frame, stitching, casting off and finishing your work.

This kit comes with plain 10 count tapestry canvas, a coloured symbol pattern and ample yarn required to create the Cornish Tartan design using the half-cross stitch method of tapestry needlepoint. If you’d prefer to use a tent-stitch technique (also known as continental) or basketweave, please note that you may require more yarn.
