Cotton Babycord Fabric - Cornish National Tartan

A brand new basecloth for our home county's Cornish National Tartan!

This very fine, super soft, 19 wale babycord is a lighter weight corduroy - sometimes called Pinwale Cord - ideal for autumn/winter pinafores, skirts and trousers as well as warm and comfy baby and childrens wear.

Care instructions: Machine wash 30 degrees. Always pre-wash

Opacity: Opaque

Cornish National Tartan was the first Cornish tartan. Each colour symbolises an aspect of the county's heritage. Black and gold were the colours of the Kings of Cornwall, the red is for the beak and legs of the Cornish Chough. At the centre of the tartan design is the St Piran's flag, surrounded by the blue representing the Atlantic.
