Fabric Swap - Wednesday 2nd April

What:

Do you have remnants or unused meterage taking up space in your sewing room? Time for a destash? Join us for our fabric swap event where you can trade your unwanted fabrics and discover new treasures!

Bring your clean, good quality fabrics and swap them for something new. Whether you have quilting cottons, dressmaking fabrics, home furnishing textiles or specialty fabrics, there’s something for everyone. No need to book in advance, just come along with your fabrics!

When:

Wednesday 2nd April, 18:00 - 19:00

Where: 

In our studio opposite our shop on Calenick Street. 

How to take part:

1.      Sort through your fabric at home and choose what you want to destash

2.      Bring your unwanted fabric to the event

3.      Donate your fabric to the event for others to take home *

4.      Choose what you would like to take from what others have brought!

*Please note that your fabric donation is your entry to this event. If you do not find something you’d like to take home, you won’t be able to take your fabric back if someone has chosen it.

Event Rules:

-          Minimum ½ metre pieces OR fat 1/4s accepted of patchwork cottons

-          Clothing items not accepted

-          Fabric in a clean and useable condition

-          Label pieces with width, length, and fibre (if known)

The Studio is located opposite our shop on Calenick Street. Look for the grey door with the pink signage next to the Moorfield Car Park and PIP Consultation Centre.
