‘Up Hill Down Dale’ is a stunning contemporary quilt design using traditional patchwork techniques.
Almost every quilter, patch worker and crafter I know loves a pre-cut packs of fabric. But I expect like me whilst these wonderful bundles look lovely stacked in your sewing room, it is great to have specific projects for them too. This quilt pattern was designed with that in mind! Simply take two 10” layer cakes, each comprising 42 squares of pre-cut 10” fabric, to construct the quilt top.
Some patchworking and quilting experience recommended, but the project is suitable for all experience levels and can be tackled by an ambitious novice! The detailed pattern guides you through cutting your fabric, block construction, piecing the quilt top and includes notes on preparing the quilt backing, wadding and layering up.
The finished quilt measures 59 ½ x 90 inches.
