This Undyed Natural Seeded Loomstate 12oz Bull Denim Fabric embodies a raw, understated character ideal for those who appreciate unprocessed, hard-wearing textiles.
With its 12oz weight, this denim has the structure and durability needed for serious making, while the untouched, natural finish keeps it honest and true to its origins. The subtle seeded texture adds depth and individuality, ensuring no two pieces are exactly alike.
As loomstate fabric, it comes straight from the loom without any additional finishing, preserving the raw, organic character. Loomstate denim is ideal for clothing and accessories where you require a specific colour, as it can be dyed and shrunk to purpose. Whether you're creating workwear, heavy-duty outerwear, or upholstery, this bull denim is perfect for projects that need to stand the test of time.
Note: Being loomstate this fabric will shrink on the first couple of washes so please wash before use. If dying please follow dye instructions regarding washing thereafter. We strongly recommend testing a small piece first to be sure.

*Our quick guide on How to Care for Denim Fabric*
Denim is a hardworking fabric that gets better with age, but proper care is key to keeping it looking and feeling its best. Follow these tips to maintain the colour, texture, and longevity of your denim projects.
1. Pre-Wash is Essential!
Before sewing, always pre-wash your denim to prevent shrinkage later. Wash it on a cold or lukewarm cycle with mild detergent and air dry to keep the fabric’s structure intact.
2. Wash Less, Wear More
Denim doesn’t need frequent washing. Instead, spot-clean small stains and air your garments to keep them fresh. When a full wash is necessary, turn items inside out and use a cold wash to preserve colour.
3. Avoid Harsh Detergents
Opt for a gentle, non-bio detergent to prevent fading and keep denim soft. Avoid bleach or fabric softeners, as they can break down fibres and dull the colour.
4. Skip the Tumble Dryer (If You Can!)
High heat can cause denim to shrink and weaken over time. Air dry where possible, laying flat or hanging to maintain its shape. If using a dryer, choose low heat to reduce stress on the fabric.
5. Iron with Care
Denim doesn’t need much ironing, but if wrinkles appear, use a medium heat setting with steam. For stubborn creases, a damp cloth between the iron and fabric works wonders.
By following these simple steps, your denim will stay strong, stylish, and comfortable for years to come!
