Use sewing machine oil to lubricate the moving parts on your machine to keep your machine running smoothly, quietly and to give your machine the best chance for a long life. By doing this you reduce the friction as the internal parts of your machine move and rotate giving more even stitch lines! This reduction in friction also significantly reduces the potential for damage to the gears and motor.
