Throughout the year, we'll be hosting regular demonstrations covering a wide range of sewing, knitting, embroidery and textile crafts. Each session focuses on one technique, giving you the chance to watch, learn and ask questions without committing to a full-day workshop.

What to Expect

Every week we'll showcase a different sewing or textile technique, with two demonstration sessions held during the day so you can choose the time that suits you best.

Each demonstration lasts around 20–30 minutes and is completely free to attend. There's no classroom, no pressure and no previous experience required. Simply come along, pull up a chair and enjoy learning from one of our experienced team members.

Learn from Our Creative Team

Every demonstration is hosted by a member of the Truro Fabrics team. Between us, we have decades of experience in sewing, dressmaking, knitting, embroidery, quilting and textile arts, and we genuinely love sharing what we've learnt.

Our demonstrations are informal and friendly, with plenty of opportunities to ask questions, see techniques up close and chat with our team afterwards. Whether you're trying a new craft for the first time or looking to pick up a few professional tips, we're always happy to help.
