Made-to-measure curtains in Cornwall

Curtains are one of those home aspects you don’t think about until they’re wrong. A gap at the top of a bay window. A pattern that doesn’t quite line up. A fit that’s almost right, but not quite. We make sure that never happens.

Options & styles

Options & styles

Whichever heading style you’re drawn to, we’ll make it beautiful. The result is more than just curtains: it’s the finishing touch that makes a room feel entirely yours.

A good pair of curtains doesn’t only look beautiful. We’ll talk you through:

Interlinings for a fuller and more luxurious drape
Blackout linings for bedrooms, nurseries or anywhere that needs total darkness
Thermal linings to keep rooms warmer in winter and cooler in summer
Privacy and light control so you get exactly the balance you want, room by room

You simply tell us how you want the room to feel and function and we’ll help you choose the combination that gets you there.

Room & window use cases

Room & window use cases

Bay windows. Apex and gable-end windows. French doors, bifold doors, formers, the oddly shaped alcove nobody else wants to quote for. If it lets light in, we’ve probably dressed it. Unusually-shaped windows are where we’re happiest.

Our team has years of experience working out the pattern repeat, calculating exactly how much fabric you’ll need and solving the practical puzzles that come with unusual spaces, so you don’t have to think about the maths.

Whether you’re dressing a window in a traditional Cornish cottage, a sleek new build or a commercial property, our service is built around your space, not a standard template. We work on single rooms and whole-house projects alike: for homeowners, designers and businesses across Cornwall.

How it works

How it works

1. Have a chat. Visit our Truro showroom or get in touch by phone or email. Bring your ideas, your moodboard or just a general sense of what you’re after.

2. Choose your fabric and heading style. Browse our roll stock and designer sample library in person, see and feel the fabrics for real and we’ll talk through linings, interlinings and heading options as we go.

3. We measure. Our team can take precise measurements at your home so the fit is exact, every time.

4. We make. Every curtain is handcrafted by our team here in Cornwall, to last.

5. We fit. We install the finished curtains ourselves, so everything hands, draws and sits exactly as it should.

Pricing & lead-time guidance

Pricing & lead-time guidance

The cost of made-to-measure curtains depends on your window size, chosen fabric, heading style, lining and track or pole. Rather than a fixed price list, we talk this through at the consultation stage and follow up with a tailored quote.

FAQs

What’s the difference between heading styles?

Pinch pleat and double pleat give a classic and structured look. Wave heading is relaxed and contemporary, while pencil pleat is neat and versatile. Eyelet and goblet each bring a different drape and fullness. We’ll talk through which suits your window and room during your visit.

Can you make blackout or thermal curtains?

Yes! Blackout linings are ideal for bedrooms and nurseries, and thermal linings help keep rooms warmer in winter and cooler in summer. We can advise on the right combination.

Do curtain tracks or poles come included?

Tracks and poles are supplied separately so you can choose exactly what suits your window.

Can you help with bay windows or oddly-shaped windows?

Yes, and we love to. Our team handles pattern repeats, fabric calculations and the practical puzzles that come with awkward spaces as standard.
