Bring a little Western style to your handmade wardrobe with the Folkwear 212 Five Frontier Shirts sewing pattern. This collection includes five shirt variations inspired by 19th-century frontier clothing and traditional Western wear, with options for both men and women.

Views A, B and C are traditional, loose-fitting shirts in men's sizes 36–46. Each features a pointed collar, shaped back yoke, long sleeves with shaped cuffs and a shirt-tail hem. View A has a simple slashed front opening that fastens with lacing. View B adds a removable button-front bib, originally designed to offer protection from steer's horns or the cold. View C has a distinctive shaped bib inspired by the emblem traditionally worn by firefighters.

Views D and E offer a more contemporary take on the Western shirt, with narrower fits and sizing for both men and women. Both feature decorative yokes, smile pockets and piped trim. View D has Folkwear's original bull's-head yoke design and decorative sleeve plackets, while View E has a simple curved yoke.

With five different designs to choose from, you can make a traditional lace-front shirt, a bib-front style or a modern Western shirt with decorative detailing. The pattern also includes historical information and instructions for authentic finishing details, including piped trim and smile pockets.
