A soft, pale beige that goes with just about everything. Shortbread is a warm, understated neutral for cosy handmade layers, whether you’re sewing a wardrobe staple or making something snuggly for home.

Made from 100% polyester, this 280gsm knitted polar fleece has a smooth outer face and a plush, brushed reverse that feels soft against your skin. The slight stretch gives garments comfortable movement, while the anti-pil finish helps resist bobbling with regular wear and washing.

We’d make this into a relaxed fleece pullover, a cosy zip-up jacket or comfortable lounge trousers. It’s also a lovely choice for blankets, quilt backings and soft toys, particularly when you want a neutral that feels warmer than white.

Easy to cut without fraying, it’s a practical fabric for beginners and experienced sewists alike. OEKO-TEX Standard 100 certified.
