Deep, rich and wonderfully suited to colder-weather sewing, this wine-coloured anti-pil polar fleece offers a more understated alternative to bright red. Its dark red shade works beautifully with charcoal, navy, black and cream for cosy layers that feel easy to wear.

Made from 100% polyester, this 280gsm knitted fleece has a smooth outer face and a plush brushed reverse that feels soft against the skin. The slight stretch provides comfortable movement, while the anti-pil finish helps reduce bobbling with regular use.

We’d turn this into a relaxed zip-up jacket, a comfortable pullover or a warm pair of lounge trousers. It would also make a lovely blanket or a practical lining for a jacket when you want an extra layer of softness.

At 150cm wide, it’s suitable for a variety of garment and home projects. The knit cuts without fraying, making it manageable to sew, and the brushed reverse adds a cosy finish. OEKO-TEX Standard 100 certified.
