The Wardrobe By Me Balloon Cardigan sewing pattern is a relaxed, slightly oversized layer with plenty of volume through the sleeves and hem. Dropped shoulders and banded edges give it an easy shape, while gathered sleeves and the body create the distinctive balloon effect.

Choose between two neckline options: a V-neckline for View A or a round neckline for View B. You can also choose from two body lengths, with optional pockets for a practical everyday version.

The cardigan is designed for jersey fabric, making it suitable for everything from lighter layers to warmer, cosier cardigans depending on the fabric you choose. Ribbing can be used as an optional addition to the bands.

Printing Your PDF Pattern
Before cutting your fabric, measure the test square on the first pattern page to check that your printer is scaling the pattern correctly. The square should measure 2 × 2cm / 5 × 5cm as specified by the pattern.

For the best results, print the A4 or Letter version using Adobe Acrobat Reader and ensure your printer is set to print at the correct scale rather than fitting the pattern to the page.
