The Ready To Sew Harper Bloomers PDF Sewing Pattern combines old-world charm with modern comfort. Inspired by traditional Edwardian bloomers, Harper features a relaxed, billowy silhouette with a comfortable paper bag waistband, elasticated back and adjustable drawstring at the front.
Designed with no side seams and made from a single pattern piece, Harper has clean, fluid lines and a beautifully simple construction. Delicate pintucks near the ankles add texture and vintage-inspired detail, while adjustable ties at the hems allow you to create anything from a softly gathered shape to a more dramatic, billowy silhouette.
Harper makes a versatile addition to a handmade wardrobe and can be worn as comfortable loungewear, summer trousers or layered into an everyday outfit. Pair it with the Ready To Sew Holly top for a relaxed matching set inspired by historical undergarments.
The pattern is available in sizes 32–64 across two size ranges, making it suitable for a wide range of body types. Choose lightweight, stable fabrics such as cotton poplin or linen for an easier sewing project, or experiment with drapey Tencel, viscose or linen/Tencel blends for a softer, more fluid finish.
This is a digital PDF sewing pattern, including layered print-at-home files, A0 copyshop and projector files.
