The Ready To Sew Henriette Pleated Blouse PDF Sewing Pattern combines vintage-inspired details with a relaxed, romantic silhouette. Inspired by early 19th-century women's undergarments, Henriette features a gathered neckline, delicate pintucks and long, slightly puffed sleeves for a beautifully timeless handmade blouse.

Version 2 adds scalloped embroidered lace trim to the neckline and cuffs for an extra feminine finish. With two cup options across the size range, the pattern is designed to accommodate a variety of body shapes and is available in sizes 0–34.

Perfect for pairing with jeans, skirts or high-waisted trousers, Henriette can be dressed up or worn casually. Choose crisp cotton poplin or linen for a more structured look, or experiment with silk or Tencel for a softer, more fluid blouse.

Henriette works beautifully in soft, lightweight woven fabrics with enough structure to showcase the pintuck detailing. For the easiest sewing experience, choose a fabric with a similar right and wrong side.

Recommended fabric weight is approximately 120–150gsm. Lighter, more fluid fabrics can be used, although the pintucks may be more challenging to sew accurately.

To complete the Henriette Pleated Blouse you will need:

  • Buttons: 5 × 10mm for size range 1
  • Buttons: 6 × 10mm for size range 2
  • Scalloped embroidered lace trim for Version 2

Version 2 lace requirements: Approximately 1.20–1.40m for size range 1 or 1.50–1.75m for size range 2, depending on your size. These quantities include a 1.5 gathering ratio for the neckline and sleeve trims.
