Sew your own relaxed car coat with the Wardrobe By Me Car Coat PDF Sewing Pattern. Designed with a loose, boxy silhouette, this hip-length coat is made for layering over jumpers, dresses and shirts.

The design features a deep front and back yoke, long sleeves and a convertible collar that can be worn open or closed. A button-front fastening keeps the finish classic, while two welt pockets provide practical storage. You can add optional pocket flaps to change the look.

Available in nine sizes from 2XS to 4XL, the pattern is suitable for advanced beginners to intermediate sewists who have some garment-making experience. Choose a medium to heavyweight woven fabric with enough structure to hold the coat's shape. Wool, boiled wool, tweed, jacquard, denim and heavy cotton are all suggested options.
