The Folkwear Child's Cookie Apron is a PDF sewing pattern for making a practical, vintage-inspired children's apron, available in sizes XXS (2–3), XS (4–5), SM (6–7), MD (8–10) and LG (12). 

The story behind this apron goes back to Cynthia, a long-time Folkwear fan and employee, whose grandmother made and wore the original design. Her grandmother drafted the pattern from one featured in a 1900s women's magazine borrowed from her own mother. It became such a useful favourite that she continued making and wearing different versions throughout her life, whatever she was doing.

Designed to protect clothing while adding a touch of old-world style, this children's apron features built-in straps that cross over at the back and button onto the bib for easy access and full coverage. The bib also has a handy pocket for keeping small items close at hand. You can adjust the stitching to accommodate the particular items you want to carry.

Two oversized patch pockets provide plenty of room for everyday essentials and little treasures. They can also be made with an additional feature from Cynthia's grandmother's original design: a small 'tissue' pocket. This useful extra pocket is ideal for keeping tissues or storing tiny items for little hands.
