Chunky Twill Coating Fabric - Orangeade

A proper winter coat fabric with a little something extra. This chunky orange twill coating is woven from 67% wool, 16% acrylic and 17% polyester/Lurex, giving it a substantial, cosy handle and the structure you want from a good coating cloth.

Look closely and you’ll spot fine gold Lurex threads woven through the fabric. They’re deliberately subtle rather than sparkly, catching the light just enough to give the rich orange a bit of extra depth.

The chunky twill texture adds plenty of character too. We’d use this for a statement winter coat, tailored jacket, oversized blazer or cosy cape, particularly if you want something a little more interesting than a standard plain coating.
