Choose from View A, a classic oversized shirt with a beautifully curved hem; View B, a contemporary cropped shirt with a straight hem; or View C, an effortlessly wearable shirtdress finished with a softly gathered skirt. Whether worn loose over jeans, tucked into tailored trousers or styled as an easy everyday dress, Jenna offers endless wardrobe possibilities.

Designed for light to medium-weight woven fabrics, this independent paper sewing pattern works beautifully in cotton poplin, linen, chambray, lightweight denim, TENCEL™, viscose and other shirting fabrics. Crisp fabrics create a more structured shirt, while softer fabrics with drape give Jenna a relaxed, effortless feel.

Suitable for intermediate sewists, this pattern is an excellent opportunity to build confidence with classic shirtmaking techniques, including sewing a collar and stand, tower sleeve plackets, cuffs and button plackets. The Jenna Shirt + Shirtdress is designed for light to medium-weight woven fabrics and classic shirtings. For a crisp, traditional shirt, choose structured fabrics such as cotton poplin, chambray, Oxford, broadcloth, dobby or shirting twill. If you prefer a softer, more relaxed finish, linen, TENCEL™, voile, viscose, silk and lightweight flannel all work beautifully, creating a garment with more fluidity and drape.

Fusible interfacing, 1/2 yard (0.5 m). Choose a light to midweight woven interfacing for a softer effect.

Choose a crisp, non-woven interfacing for sturdier cuffs and collars.

Shirt buttons, 13-15 mm wide.
