This navy stretch denim has a quiet detail that makes it anything but plain. Running along the length of the fabric are raised corded stripes in tonal indigo, each measuring approximately 2mm wide. The effect is subtle and textural rather than bold and graphic; the kind of thing that looks considered and intentional in a finished project.
At 280gsm it sits in medium-weight territory - substantial enough to hold a good shape, while the stretch content keeps it comfortable and forgiving to wear.
Made in 61% cotton, 37% polyester, that higher polyester content is what gives this denim its flexibility and recovery. It bounces back after wearing, resists creasing, and stays looking sharp wash after wash. The cotton keeps things breathable and gives you that authentic denim feel. Together, they make a fabric that's genuinely easy to live in.

Pre-Wash is Essential!
Before sewing, always pre-wash your denim to prevent shrinkage later. Wash it on a cold or lukewarm cycle with mild detergent and air dry to keep the fabric’s structure intact.
Wash Less, Wear More
Denim doesn’t need frequent washing. Instead, spot-clean small stains and air your garments to keep them fresh. When a full wash is necessary, turn items inside out and use a cold wash to preserve colour.
Opt for a gentle, non-bio detergent to prevent fading and keep denim soft. Avoid bleach or fabric softeners, as they can break down fibres and dull the colour.
Skip the Tumble Dryer (If You Can!)
High heat can cause denim to shrink and weaken over time. Air dry where possible, laying flat or hanging to maintain its shape. If using a dryer, choose low heat to reduce stress on the fabric.
Iron with Care
Denim doesn’t need much ironing, but if wrinkles appear, use a medium heat setting with steam. For stubborn creases, a damp cloth between the iron and fabric works wonders.
