Probably our favourite print this season - Seafood Picnic has the most cheerful gingham base, layered with lobsters, fish, scallop shells, tomatoes, lemons and cherries - all illustrated in a bright, summery palette of red, pink, yellow and blue on cream. It has the feel of the best kind of al fresco lunch.
The fabric is a plain weave 100% cotton, a soft, balanced weave with real versatility. It has a little more body than a poplin but a lovely smooth hand, and sits and drapes well without being stiff. This cotton is a solid all-rounder that's as easy to sew as it is to wear - great for shirts, dresses, skirts, lightweight trousers and jumpsuits, cushions, bags… the list is endless!
