Ex-Designer Tencel Twill Fabric - Black

Some fabrics you can feel the quality of before you've even decided what to make. This black Tencel twill is one of them. Buttery soft, beautifully drapey and with enough weight to give your finished garment real presence, it has a wonderfully smooth handle with the refined feel of classic peau de soie.

The very fine twill weave gives the surface a subtle texture without taking away from its fluidity, while the 100% Tencel construction makes it beautifully soft against the skin. It falls rather than clings, making it particularly good for garments where you want elegant movement and a polished finish.

We'd absolutely make a pair of wide-leg trousers with this, but it's equally suited to a fluid jumpsuit, bias-cut skirt or understated evening dress. And being ex-designer deadstock, once it's gone, it's gone!
