The powerful motor reaches speeds of up to 1,300 stitches per minute, so you can get through seams quickly without sacrificing control. HANENITE vibration suppression and HANENITE feet keep the machine stable while reducing vibration and noise, making it a much more pleasant machine to spend time with.

The 8-piece feed dog helps your fabric glide smoothly beneath the foot, while the adjustable differential feed (0.5–2.25) gives you much more control when sewing stretchy or tricky fabrics. You can fine-tune the stitch length from 1–5mm, adjust the cutting width and foot pressure, and use the Bi-Level operation when you're sewing across multiple layers.

That means you can adapt the machine to the fabric in front of you, rather than fighting with it.

Less faff, more sewing

Threading is one of the biggest worries when buying an overlocker, particularly if you’re new to one. The MyLock 654D has colour-coded thread guides and a threading reference chart inside the front cover, making it much easier to follow each thread and get started.

Changing to a rolled hem is straightforward too, with a retractable upper knife and no need to change the needle plate or chaining finger. The wide chaining finger helps deliver thread smoothly across bulky, stretchy and fine fabrics.

You also get excellent visibility around the needle and cutting area, helped by a bright white LED light, so you can see what you're doing when finishing seams and sewing curves.

With 2, 3 or 4-thread options, you can overlock, flat lock and create rolled hems, while the 1 or 2 needle setup gives you flexibility across different techniques. Snap-on presser feet make changing feet easy, and adjustable foot pressure helps you get better results across different fabric weights.
