The Kajo Batwing Wrap Sweater & Dress PDF Sewing Pattern by Named Clothing includes two comfortable styles with an eye-catching layered design. Choose between a loose-fitting sweater with a curved hem band or a more fitted dress with a pencil skirt silhouette.

Both variations feature batwing sleeves, creating a relaxed shape through the upper body and plenty of room for movement. The sweater has an easy, loose fit, while the dress follows a closer silhouette through the skirt for a more defined shape.

Choose a medium-weight knit fabric with approximately 50% stretch. A soft, drapey knit is important for achieving the intended shape and layered effect. Soft cotton cable knit and lightweight sweatshirt fabric are both recommended options.

You'll also need fusible knit interfacing to support the construction. Make sure your interfacing has approximately the same stretch percentage as your main fabric, so it moves comfortably with the garment.
