Laundered Linen Gingham Fabric - Pea Green

Soft Pea Green meets natural linen in this beautifully understated 2cm gingham, woven from 100% pure linen. With its muted colour, natural texture and generous check, it has a timeless quality that works just as well in contemporary dressmaking as it does in considered interiors.

This 185gsm washed linen is pre-laundered to give it a naturally softened handle from the outset, while retaining enough structure for garments and home furnishings. The fabric has a lovely balance of drape and body, becoming increasingly relaxed and characterful with wear and washing.

The gingham is created using yarn-dyed linen yarns, rather than being printed onto the finished fabric. This gives the check greater depth and means the pattern runs through the weave, with both sides fully usable ideal for reversible garments, turned cuffs, napkins, table linens and projects where the reverse is visible.
