A beautiful natural cloth with a little more pattern. This linen and cotton blend has been left in its natural, undyed state, giving the fabric a lovely seeded texture and relaxed, earthy character. Fine yarn-dyed white lines create a subtle check through the cloth, with the pattern woven into the fabric rather than printed on top. It’s understated but far from plain, making it incredibly versatile for both dressmaking and interiors.
We’d make this into wide-leg or relaxed pull-on trousers, an oversized shirt, simple summer dress or lightweight jacket, or take it into the home for relaxed curtains, table runners, cushions and other soft furnishings. The natural ground and small-scale check have that effortless, lived-in quality that works beautifully with other natural textures. A really useful cloth with plenty of character.
