Loopback Cotton Linen Sweatshirt Fabric – Silver Sparkle

A little silver sparkle makes all the difference. Silver Sparkle is an exclusive deadstock cotton linen sweatshirt fabric, with a pale grey and cream marl base and fine silver Lurex threads knitted throughout. Turn it over and you'll find the classic loopback reverse, with its distinctive little loops.

Made from 70% cotton, 10% linen and 20% Lurex, this natural fibre blend has a slightly textured feel while retaining the softness and comfort you'd want from a sweatshirt fabric. The loopback construction makes it lighter and more breathable than traditional brushed sweatshirting, so you can enjoy the cosy feel without too much extra warmth.

With approximately 15% stretch and no elastane, it has less give than a typical stretch sweatshirt fabric, offering a little more structure for your finished garment.

We'd make this into a relaxed sweatshirt, an oversized jumper or a casual boxy top. The silver threads catch the light as you move, giving everyday handmade staples a little something extra.
