A rich, dark chocolate brown in a beautiful quality heavyweight drill. This ex-designer deadstock fabric has a smooth surface with clearly defined diagonal twill ribs, giving it a clean, refined finish.

Made from 65% Lyocell and 35% cotton, it has the substance you'd expect from a heavyweight drill, but with a much softer drape than you'd typically find in a fabric of this weight. The Lyocell gives it a beautifully soft handle, so your finished garments have structure without feeling stiff or rigid.

We'd make this into wide-leg trousers, tailored trousers, utility jackets or a structured jumpsuit. It's particularly good for pieces where you want a substantial fabric that still falls and moves beautifully.
