The Mimosa Culottes PDF Sewing Pattern by Named Clothing is a statement trouser design with a high waist, midi length and super wide legs. Combining clean, minimalist details with plenty of volume, these culottes offer the look of a skirt with the practicality of trousers.

The front features slanted pleats that add shape and movement, alongside a traditional fly-front zip fastening. A narrow waistband sits neatly at the waist and fastens with a concealed button and trouser hook and eye for a clean finish. Subtle slash pockets at the side seams add a practical detail without interrupting the wide-leg silhouette.

Choose a lightweight or medium-weight non-stretch trouser fabric with good drape to give the legs their fluid shape. A fabric with more movement will emphasise the volume, while a lighter but durable fabric is recommended for the pocket bags.
