This paper sewing pattern works beautifully in breathable fabrics with soft drape such as linen, linen blends, viscose and rayon fabrics. Whether sewn in floaty viscose for a swishy relaxed look or lightweight linen for an easy summer staple, the Sienna Trousers are endlessly wearable.

Suitable for advanced beginners, this independent sewing pattern is a great next-step project for sewists looking to build confidence with techniques such as pocket construction and sewing elasticated waistbands. A basic knowledge of sewing patterns and sewing machine use is recommended.

Available in UK sizes 4-18 and UK sizes 16-32.

Skill Level: Advanced beginner

This pattern has been designed for lightweight woven fabric with little to no stretch. For a breezy Summer fabric I love the look or cotton or linen. Viscose also works really well, as it gives a lovely drape. You could even use something like silk to make a really special pair of comfy trousers!
