Organic Washed Cotton Mini Gingham Fabric - Grape

Grape is a deep purple and white mini gingham with plenty of personality, softened beautifully by the washed finish. The organic cotton has a cosy, substantial handle similar to a fine cotton flannel, without the brushed surface, while remaining breathable enough to wear comfortably throughout the year.

The traditional 5mm check is woven from dyed threads rather than printed, giving the purple a lovely depth and making both sides of the fabric pleasing to use. A gentle crinkled wash adds relaxed texture and takes away any stiffness, leaving you with a fabric that feels comfortable and easy from the very first wear.

The richer colour makes Grape particularly good for pieces you want to wear on repeat. We'd make a relaxed button-down shirt, gathered midi dress, wide-leg trousers or an oversized pinafore. It would also be great for a slightly boxy chore jacket or overshirt
