Organic Washed Cotton Mini Gingham Fabric - Miso

Miso is a warm mustard yellow and white mini gingham. The organic cotton has a soft, substantial handle that feels a little like a fine cotton flannel, without the brushed surface. It's cosy enough for cooler days but breathable enough to make it a genuinely useful fabric all year round.

The classic 5mm check is woven from dyed threads rather than printed, giving the mustard a rich, even colour and making the fabric look just as good on both sides. A gentle washed and crinkled finish brings a relaxed texture to the surface, while the weight gives your finished pieces enough substance to hold their shape.

We'd make this into an oversized shirt, relaxed midi dress or pair of wide-leg trousers, or use it for a boxy pinafore when you want the colour to do the talking. Miso would also make a brilliant everyday chore jacket or overshirt.
