Organic Washed Cotton Mini Gingham Fabric - Sage

Sage is a soft pale green and white mini gingham with a fresh, easy feel that works beautifully across an everyday handmade wardrobe. The organic cotton has a cosy, substantial handle similar to a fine cotton flannel, without the brushed surface, while remaining breathable enough to wear comfortably throughout the year.

The traditional 5mm check is woven from dyed threads rather than printed, giving the sage a lovely depth and making both sides of the fabric look equally good. A gentle washed and crinkled finish adds relaxed texture straight from the roll, while the weight gives your finished garments plenty of substance.

We’d make Sage into an oversized shirt, gathered dress, relaxed trousers or pinafore. It would also be lovely as an everyday chore jacket or overshirt.
