Organic Washed Cotton Jumbo Gingham Fabric - Miso

Miso is a warm mustard yellow and white jumbo gingham with a generous 27mm check that gives the classic pattern a bold, modern feel. The golden mustard shade has plenty of warmth, while the larger check makes it a brilliant choice when you want the fabric to be the feature of your finished piece.

Made from organic cotton, it has a cosy, substantial handle similar to a fine cotton flannel, without the brushed surface. It remains breathable enough for year-round wear, while the gently washed, crinkled finish gives it relaxed texture and an easy feel from the start.

The check is woven from dyed threads rather than printed, giving the mustard lovely depth and making both sides look equally good. We’d make Miso into an oversized shirt, statement dress, wide-leg trousers or pinafore. It would also be fantastic as a boxy chore jacket or overshirt.
