Organic Washed Cotton Jumbo Gingham Fabric - Pine

Pine is a deep pine green and white jumbo gingham with a generous 27mm check that gives the classic pattern a bold, graphic feel. The rich green makes this a striking choice for pieces where you want the gingham to really stand out, while the washed finish keeps it relaxed and easy to wear.

Made from organic cotton, it has a cosy, substantial handle similar to a fine cotton flannel, without the brushed surface. It remains breathable enough for year-round wear, while the gently washed, crinkled finish gives the fabric relaxed texture straight from the roll.

The check is woven from dyed threads rather than printed, giving the green lovely depth and making both sides look equally good. We’d make Pine into an oversized shirt, relaxed dress, wide-leg trousers or statement pinafore. It would also be excellent for a chore jacket or boxy overshirt.
