Organic Washed Cotton Mini Gingham Fabric - Cloud

Soft pale baby blue and white gingham with a beautifully relaxed handle, Cloud is an easy one to imagine in an everyday wardrobe. The organic cotton feels cosy and substantial, with a handle similar to a fine cotton flannel, but without the brushed surface. It's breathable too, making it just as useful for spring and summer as it is for cooler months.

The classic 5mm check is woven from dyed threads, giving the blue and white a lovely depth and making the fabric reversible. Its gently washed, crinkled finish adds subtle texture and takes away any stiffness, while the weight gives your finished pieces enough structure to hold their shape.

We'd use Cloud for an oversized button-down shirt, gathered midi dress, relaxed trousers or a sweet-but-not-too-sweet pinafore. It would also make a brilliant everyday overshirt worn open over a simple tee.
