Organic Washed Cotton Mini Gingham Fabric - Wheat

Wheat is a warm beige and white mini gingham with a soft, substantial feel and an easy, understated character. The organic cotton has a cosy handle similar to a fine cotton flannel, without the brushed surface, while remaining breathable enough for comfortable year-round wear.

The traditional 5mm check is woven from dyed threads rather than printed, giving the beige a rich, even colour and making both sides of the fabric look equally good. A gentle washed and crinkled finish adds relaxed texture straight from the roll, while the weight gives your finished garments plenty of substance.

We’d make Wheat into an oversized shirt, relaxed button-down, gathered midi dress or wide-leg trousers. The warm neutral colour would also work particularly well for a classic pinafore, everyday chore jacket or relaxed utility-style separates.
