Organic Washed Cotton Jumbo Gingham Fabric - Sage

Sage is a soft pale green and white jumbo gingham with a generous 27mm check that gives the classic pattern a fresh, graphic feel. The muted green makes the larger-scale check feel relaxed and easy to wear, while still giving your finished garment plenty of personality.

Made from organic cotton, it has a soft, substantial handle similar to a fine cotton flannel, without the brushed surface. It feels cosy while remaining breathable enough for year-round wear, and the gently washed, crinkled finish gives the fabric relaxed texture straight from the roll.

The check is woven from dyed threads rather than printed, giving the green lovely depth and making both sides look equally good. We’d make Sage into an oversized shirt, relaxed midi dress, wide-leg trousers or a statement pinafore. It would also be brilliant for a chore jacket or boxy overshirt.
