Organic Washed Cotton Jumbo Gingham Fabric - Wheat

Wheat is a warm beige and white jumbo gingham with a relaxed, timeless feel. The generous 27mm check gives the classic gingham pattern a more modern, graphic look, while the soft neutral palette makes it surprisingly easy to wear and style.

Made from organic cotton, the fabric has a cosy, substantial handle similar to a fine cotton flannel, without the brushed surface. It remains breathable enough for year-round wear, while the gently washed, crinkled finish gives it lovely texture and a relaxed feel straight from the roll.

The check is woven from dyed threads rather than printed, giving both sides a rich, even appearance. We’d make Wheat into an oversized shirt, statement pinafore, wide-leg trousers or relaxed midi dress. It would also make a brilliant chore jacket or lightweight jacket when you want the gingham to do the talking.
