The Maéli Paris Clotilde PDF Sewing Pattern is a feminine blouse and dress pattern with a straight, slightly fitted silhouette. Available in EU sizes 34–52, Clotilde is designed for everyday wear while offering plenty of opportunities to add your own fabric choices and decorative details.

Choose between the blouse or dress version. The dress features several gathered panels, while both styles have a distinctive front bib and a buttoned opening. The front panel can be finished with optional flat pleats, giving you the choice of a simpler finish or extra texture and detail. For the sleeves, choose between a simple cuff or a ruffled cuff to create a different look.

Construction includes making the front bib, working the gathers and creating the buttoned opening. The pattern is rated 3/5 for sewing difficulty, making it an intermediate-level project. Seam allowances are included.

Clotilde is designed with upcycling in mind, making it a good opportunity to reuse vintage textiles and fabrics you already have. Maéli Paris has used vintage sheets for the blouse and cotton curtains for the dress. You can also make the front bib in a contrasting fabric, such as lace, embroidery, cotton voile or textured fabric, to highlight this feature. For the ruffled cuff option, eyelet embroidery, vintage braid or ribbon can add a decorative finish.

For a lightweight summer garment, choose cotton poplin, voile, batiste or percale. Linen, ramie and Tencel offer more structure with a natural drape, while viscose or lightweight crepe are suggested for a dressier, more fluid version.
