Classic heritage meets a fresh hit of colour in Peridot Plaid, a pure wool tartan tweed woven in deep navy, bright green and fine white accents. The traditional plaid has an extra layer of detail, with the white lines creating a subtle windowpane check through the larger pattern.

With its substantial tweed weight and naturally soft drape, this fabric feels reassuringly sturdy without being stiff. This ex-designer deadstock is ideal for making well-crafted garments you'll wear for years to come.

Sew a tailored blazer, a cosy winter skirt, a waistcoat or smart wool trousers. The rich navy keeps things classic, while the vibrant green gives this heritage check a more contemporary feel.

Pure wool tweed doesn’t need frequent washing. Air garments between wears and use a soft clothes brush to remove dust and surface dirt. Blot small marks gently with a damp cloth, avoiding rubbing. For structured jackets and coats, we recommend professional dry cleaning. Simple, unlined garments may be hand-washed in cool water with a wool-safe detergent. We recommend testing a piece first. Never wring, tumble dry or dry on a radiator, as heat and agitation can cause wool to shrink or lose its shape.
