Quilted Fleece Back Fabric - Black

If you like your outerwear warm, lightweight and ridiculously soft, this deadstock fabric is worth a look. It has a smooth black showerproof outer, fine wadding and the softest black fleece backing, all quilted together for you.

The lightweight construction gives you that classic puffer look without making your finished garment feel overly bulky, while the fleece backing adds a cosy layer of warmth and makes the inside particularly lovely against your clothes. And because the quilting is already done, you can get straight on with your project rather than quilting your own layers.

We'd use this for an everyday puffer jacket, lightweight coat or gilet. The all-black finish keeps it sleek and easy to wear, while the fleece backing makes it a particularly good choice for a cosy transitional layer.

As with all our deadstock fabrics, the exact fibre composition isn't guaranteed, but we believe the outer, wadding and fleece are all polyester.
