Matching Gütermann Sew All Thread
Ridiculously soft, satisfyingly squishy and made for cosy layers. This deadstock Sherpa fleece comes in Dark Forest, a deep, dark olive green that works beautifully with denim, neutrals and autumnal colours.
Made from 100% polyester, it has a knitted base with two-way stretch, giving your finished makes a little extra flexibility for comfortable everyday wear. The pile is slightly shorter than our other Sherpa fleeces, creating a more compact teddy texture while keeping that lovely soft, fluffy feel.
We’d turn this into a relaxed gilet for layering over chunky jumpers, a cosy pullover for chilly days or a jacket that you'll reach for whenever the temperature drops. It would also make a brilliant soft lining for an outer layer.
As deadstock, there's only a limited amount available, so grab enough for your project while you can.
Working with Sherpa Fleece
When sewing sherpa fleece, use a ballpoint or stretch needle to glide through the knit backing without snagging. A walking foot helps feed the thick, fluffy pile evenly, preventing shifting or stretching. Overlock or zigzag seams to reduce bulk, and keep a lint roller handy as sherpa does shed a little when cut, but it’s well worth it for the snuggly results.

We do our best to represent colours as accurately as possible in our photography, however colours can vary between screens and devices. Colours may appear slightly different in person due to monitor calibration, lighting conditions, and the nature of photographic reproduction.
If you are unsure about a colour, we recommend ordering a fabric sample before purchasing.
