With its luxuriously soft, fluffy sherpa pile on one side and a smooth knit reverse on the other, this single-sided fleece is ideal for both comfort and practicality.

The deep petrol blue shade gives this fabric a modern yet timeless appeal, making it a versatile choice whether you’re sewing outerwear or home comforts. Think oversized hoodies, winter jackets, gilets and body warmers, or cosy blankets and throws. It’s also perfect for lining garments, adding an extra layer of warmth without extra weight.

Soft, breathable and snuggly, sherpa fleece is a dream to wear and wonderfully easy to work with. Whether you’re sewing for yourself, your family, or creating handmade gifts.

Working with Teddy Sherpa Fleece
When sewing sherpa fleece, use a ballpoint or stretch needle to glide through the knit backing without snagging. A walking foot helps feed the thick, fluffy pile evenly, preventing shifting or stretching. Overlock or zigzag seams to reduce bulk, and keep a lint roller handy - sherpa does shed a little when cut, but it’s well worth it for the snuggly results.
