A 100% silk dupion fabric in a soft bronze tone, offering warmth and depth without high shine. This silk has been machine woven, giving it a slightly smoother surface than traditional hand-woven dupion while retaining the distinctive slubbed texture that gives the fabric its character.
Lightweight, thin, and crisp with a firm handle, this dupion behaves much like silk taffeta, holding shape exceptionally well. It is an excellent choice for pleats, structured gathers, tailored bodices, fitted dresses, skirts, and occasion garments where clean lines and volume are important. The fabric’s natural structure allows it to support shape without feeling heavy.
