Stretch Cotton Corduroy Fabric - Malbec

Malbec is a classic wine-red stretch cotton corduroy fabric, ideal for adding a rich colour to your handmade wardrobe. It has a soft, fluffy pile and traditional 7-wale ribs, bringing depth and texture to trousers, skirts and other fitted garments.

Made from 97% cotton and 3% elastane, this 7-wale corduroy offers 20% two-way stretch and excellent recovery. It gives fitted clothing room to move while springing back into shape after wear. That recovery is particularly useful for trousers, helping to reduce the bagging around the knees that can happen with repeated wear.

Use Malbec for fitted trousers, a corduroy mini skirt, dungarees or a jumpsuit. Its wine-red shade works particularly well with black, navy, cream and other deep autumnal colours.
