Fehr Trade - PDF Sewing Pattern - Tessellate Tee

The Fehr Trade Tessellate Tee sewing pattern is a versatile activewear sewing pattern for making a long- or short-sleeved stretch jersey top with distinctive asymmetric seaming. The geometric panels create plenty of scope for colourblocking, while optional features let you adapt the top for running, cycling, hiking and everyday activewear.

Start with the basic T-shirt, featuring a banded neckline and long or short sleeves. You can then add a ponytail hood, thumb cuffs or a zipped back pocket, choosing just one feature or combining all three. The hood has a specially designed opening for a ponytail, while the zipped back pocket is particularly useful for carrying small essentials when cycling or hiking.

The thumb cuffs can be added without hand sewing and are interchangeable with the hand mitts from the Fehr Trade Surf to Summit Top (Ladies) pattern. Instructions are also included for removing the ponytail opening from the hood if you prefer a standard hood.

Choose from a range of stretch jersey fabrics including cotton jersey, wool jersey, ponte jersey, sweatshirting, French terry and Supplex Lycra, with at least 20% crosswise stretch.

The basic Tessellate Tee, ponytail hood and thumb cuffs are suitable for beginners, although some experience sewing knits is expected. The invisible zipper back pocket requires Intermediate sewing skills.

The pattern includes layered PDFs, allowing you to print only the sizes you need if your PDF software supports layers, plus A4, US Letter, A0 and 36-inch-wide formats and a projector-optimised file. Fully illustrated instructions and a Common Fit Adjustments guide are included.
