The JULIANA MARTEJEVS Ava Patchwork Bag PDF Sewing Pattern is a fun and practical way to turn fabric scraps into a unique handmade accessory. This small baguette-style bag features a simple patchwork design on the outside, making it a great project for experimenting with different fabrics and creating a bag that's completely your own.

The Ava Bag has a short shoulder strap, a metal zip fastening and a small internal pocket. Its compact size makes it a useful everyday accessory, while the patchwork construction gives you plenty of scope to play with colour, texture and contrasting fabrics.

Designed for medium to heavy weight woven fabrics, the bag can be made from denim, corduroy, canvas and other suitable fabrics. The pattern is constructed for a non-stretch fabric, so the designer recommends making a test piece before cutting into your final fabric.

The finished bag measures 26 cm (10 in) wide, 15 cm (6 in) high and 7 cm (3 in) deep, with a total height of 39 cm when including the strap.

This downloadable PDF bag sewing pattern is supplied in both DIN A4 and US Letter formats, with a fabric-saving cutting layplan and materials list. You'll also receive written and illustrated sewing instructions in English, German and French, plus a detailed video sewing tutorial in German with English and French subtitles.

Sewing Level: Intermediate
