The ULPU Cross Neck Tank Top by Named Clothing is a simple knitwear project with an interesting neckline detail. The straps cross at the front to create a keyhole detail, giving this fitted tank top its distinctive look.

The top is double-layered, with an elasticated band at the bottom of the inner layer, sitting just under the bust. This provides additional support and means you can wear the top without a bra if you prefer.

Choose a dense knit fabric with four-way stretch, around 40–50% stretch, and good recovery. Fabrics with minimal drape will help the top hold its shape. Interlock knits such as ponte are particularly suitable, and the same fabric should be used for both the outer layer and lining.
